Jen Donahue is a tattoo artist and painter residing in Berwyn, IL. Her latest show, Tree Spirits in Sleep, is a collection of surrealist paintings using repurposed materials. These pieces juxtapose a fear of the unknown with the comfort that can be found in the connection. Connections can be interpersonal - relationships with each other, generational - relationships with our ancestors, biophilic - relationships with nature, and surreal - relationships with the unseen.

The show will run through January.
